Terms of Use
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Using the service
ConvertMP4 is provided as a browser-based utility for converting compatible video files to audio. You are responsible for the files you choose to process and for making sure you have the necessary rights to use and convert them.
No guarantee of compatibility
Browser and codec support varies. Some MP4 files may not contain an audio track or may use an audio codec that your browser cannot decode. Conversion can also fail because of device memory or browser limitations.
Your files
The converter is designed to process files locally in the browser. You should keep your own backup of important files. Closing or refreshing the browser page can discard temporary conversion data.
Prohibited use
Do not use the site to infringe copyright, violate applicable law, distribute malware, interfere with the website, or attempt to abuse its infrastructure.
Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the website. Third-party resources, browsers, and networks can also affect availability.
Advertising
The site may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or external websites linked from them.
